PRVNÍ VEŘEJNÉ PŘEDSTAVENÍ

První z celkem 37 nových vlaků, které nakoupil, představil oficiálně Jihomoravský kraj v neděli 28. srpna 2022 veřejnosti v Brně na hlavním vlakovém nádraží. Jejich výroba byla zahájena před dvěma roky. Jde o typ elektrických železničních jednotek od Škoda Group. Jelikož je tradicí, že jsou vlaky nějak pojmenovány, rozhodl Jihomoravský kraj o názvech, které k jižní Moravě jednoznačně patří. Jsou to odrůdy vinné révy. Takže už po cestě do práce můžete jet třeba v Pálavě, Chardonnay nebo Merlotu.

NASAZENÍ DO ZKUŠEBNÍHO PROVOZU

Ve dnech 8. a 9. září 2022 se mohli cestující na lince S3 v úseku Tišnov - Židlochovice poprvé svézt novou jednotkou MORAVIA. Zaznamenávali jsme pozitivní ohlasy cestujících, a to jak k interiéru, tak exteriéru jednotek. Provozní zaměstnanci Českých drah, pak kladně hodnotí klidné chování jednotek při jízdě a výborné dynamické vlastnosti. Cestující jsou s novou jednotkou spokojeni, zejména kladli důraz na pohodlí a odhlučnění celého vlaku. Příjemný byl i nástup širokými dvěřmi nejen do nízkopodlažní části.

PRVNÍ ČTYŘVOZOVÁ JEDNOTKA

Nová čtyřvozová elektrická jednotka Moravia zahájila zkušební provoz s cestujícími. Vlak vyrazil poprvé na pravidelné lince S2 dne 19. ledna 2023 v 11.00 jako OS 4714 z Brna do Letovic. V tomto týdnu navíc výrobce předal do majetku kraje všech šest krátkých dvovozových jednotek, která tak mohou být nasazeny již do trvalého provozu. Další dodanou čtyřvozovou soupravou byla jednotka 530 004 s názvem Florianka, která dorazila 26. ledna 2023 do Brna.

Doplňuje dva další odjezdy vlaků R13 v 8:36 a 10:36, které ale nabízejí jen málo míst pro kola. Zpět z Břeclavi tento vlak jede v 17:36

Vlak vyjíždí o víkendech z Brna-Králova Pole před 8. hodinou ráno. Pokračuje směr Břeclav a Znojmo. Jde o nejrychlejší spojení Brna s Pálavou.

Spěšný vlak Pernštejn vyjíždí o víkendech z Brna po osmé hodině ráno. Odtud pokračuje do Tišnova a bez přestupu přes Nedvědici a Bystřici nad Pernštejnem.

Vlak linky S3 vyjíždějící v cyklosezóně v 8:53 z Brna jede přes Tišnov až do Vlkova, odkud se dá na kole různými trasami vrátit zpět do Brna.
