Due to the Christmas markets, tram service will be suspended across Svobody Square from Friday, November 21, 2025, to Tuesday, December 23, 2025:

• on weekdays from 3:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

• on non-working days from 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Tram line 4 will run on a detour via Husova Street in the Česká – Hlavní nádraží section.

• It will therefore skip the Náměstí Svobody and Zelný trh stops.

• The Česká stop will be served together with lines 5 and 6 in the direction of Mendlovo náměstí.

• On the detour route, it will serve the Šilingrovo náměstí and Nové sady stops.

Tram line 9 will run in both directions on a detour via Rooseveltova Street between Moravské náměstí and Hlavní nádraží.

• It will therefore skip the Česká, Náměstí Svobody, and Zelný trh stops.

• On the diversion route, it will serve the Malinovského náměstí stop.

• It will serve the Hlavní nádraží stop on tracks 5/6 (together with lines 10 and 67).

From Saturday, November 22, 2025, the Christmas tram will run through Náměstí Svobody during the closure.
