Tickets great for tourists

Single-day and multi-day tickets

Do you like going on trips? Use our convenient single-day tickets. With these tickets, you can use any and all IDS JMK routes without limitations for 24 hours from the moment of stamping or purchase. Single-day tickets are for sale via the Poseidon app, at most train stations, by bus drivers and ticket inspectors on trains and via validators in all transit vehicles in Brno. Single-day tickets are also issued for 4 distinct tourist regions: Podyjí, Pálava, Slovácko and Moravský kras.

On weekends (including national holidays), a basic single-day ticket can be used by 5 travellers simultaneously, max. 2 of them over 15 years of age. These tickets are still a bargain on weekdays, but only a single person can use them.

Single-day IDS JMK tickets are great for:
  • tourists who don't want to deal with buying multiple tickets
  • passengers travelling with their families to Brno for a whole day
  • people of Brno that like getting out of the city on weekends
  • those who want to ride on all routes of IDS JMK without limitations

Regional single-day tickets

These tickets are great for people spending their vacation (or even a weekend) in a distinct tourist region. Tickets are sold by bus drivers or at most train stations and they serve as a complete 24-hour pass for the entire area. Group travelling on weekends is also possible with these tickets — one basic single-day ticket accounts for 5 people (with max. 2 of them over 15).

Up to 5 people can travel with a single yearly ticket on weekends

Do you own a basic yearly pass for specific zones? Did you know that on weekends and national holidays, another passenger over 15 and 3 children under 15 can travel with you? You can invite anyone — they don't even have to be related. However, travelling for free is possible only within the zones the ticket has been issued for. More zones have to be paid for by everyone individually.

Example 1: I own a basic yearly ticket for my travels between Břeclav and Brno. On weekends, up to 4 other people can travel with me (including max. one person over 15) all the way into Brno or any zone included on my ticket. If we wanted to travel even further, we'd each need to buy our own ticket for more zones seperately.

Example 2: We're a group (2 adults and up to 3 children under 15) and one adult owns a basic yearly pass for zones 100 + 101. However, we'd like to go outside of the city. In that case, the whole group can use a single 24-hour ticket for all zones outside of Brno for 150 CZK.
