Long-term closure on line R8

From 26 August 2025 continuously until 13 December 2025 trains of the R8 line in the direction Přerov will be operated in the section (Přerov - Kojetín) - Vyškov na Mor. - Brno hl.n. will be replaced by buses of alternative transport according to the closure timetable of line xR8. In the section Brno-Královo Pole - Brno hl.n. they can use the train line S3 (except for the concurrent closures 27-31.8.2025).
Attention:
On 25.8.2025 the train R8/1132 will be replaced by buses.
Tariff information for the section Brno hl.n. - Brno-Královo Pole
A passenger who uses the S3 train line in the section Brno hl.n. - Brno-Královo Pole as a substitute for a cancelled connection of the R8 line must present a valid Regiojet travel document in printed or electronic form issued for the R8 line and valid for the section Brno hl.n. - Brno-Královo Pole when checking in the S3 train.
Transportation of bicycles:
Bicycle transport is provided until capacity is exhausted and only on stop connections.
Location of alternative transport stops:
- Brno hl.n.
- departures: at the public transport stop, Hlavní nádraží - stop No. 10 at Křenová viaduct
- arrives: at the public transport stop, Úzká (behind the railway station opposite OC Vaňkovka) The Brno-Královo Pole stop can be reached by trains of line S3.
- Vyškov na Moravě - at the bus stop - Vyškov, žel. st.
- Nezamyslice - at the bus stop - Nezamyslice, žel. st.
- Kojetín - in front of the station building (outside IDS JMK)
