Bus diversion in Merhautova street

Due to the reconstruction of the bridge over the railway line, Merhautova Street between Štefánikova čtvrt' and Lesná will be closed from Wednesday 14 February 2024 (for the night line N92 from the night of 14/15 February 2024) until the completion of the works (expected by the end of June 2024).
Bus lines 44, 72 and 84 will run in the section Merhautova - Halasovo náměstí with a two-way diversion through Provaznikova Street and General Píky Avenue.
- The stops Štefánikova čtvrt', Lesná, Railway Station and Poliklinika Lesná will be omitted.
- The diversion route will serve the stops Provazníkova, Lesnická, Bieblova and Fügnerova.
Bus line 46 will run in the section Lesnická - Heleny Malířové with a two-way diversion through Generála Píky Avenue and Okružní Street.
- It will skip the stops Provazníkova, Štefánikova čtvrt' and Lesná, nádraží.
- The diversion route will serve the stops Bieblova, Fügnerova and Poliklinika Lesná.
- The Lesnická stop will be served in both directions by Lesnická Street (identical to line N93).
Bus line 57 will run in the section Štefánikova čtvrt' - Halasovo náměstí with a two-way diversion via Porgesova Street and Generála Píky Avenue.
- In both directions it will skip the Poliklinika Lesná stop.
- The stop Lesná, nádraží in the direction of Lesná will be relocated behind the intersection with Kohoutová Street.
- The stop Lesná, nádraží in the direction to Štefánikovy čtvrt' will not be served.
The night bus line N92 will run in the section Štefánikova čtvrt' - Heleny Malířové with a two-way diversion through Porgesova Street, Generála Píky Avenue and Okružní Street.
- The stop Lesná, nádraží in the direction of Lesná will be relocated behind the intersection with Kohoutová Street.
- The stop Lesná, nádraží in the direction to Štefánikova quarter will not be served.
- On the diverted route, line N92 will additionally serve the Poliklinika Lesná stop in both directions.
Line 11
In order to facilitate transfers between trams and buses, the tram line 11 will be operated on the route Mendlovo náměstí - Česká - Jugoslávská - Lesnická - Čertova rokle.
- Line 11 will operate on weekdays from 6:00 to 19:00.
Travel tips:
When travelling between the city centre and the Lesná housing estate, we recommend using tram lines 7, 9 and 11 with a change to lines 44, 46, 57, 72 and 84 at the stops Zemdělská, Lesnická or Halasovo náměstí. To transfer from trolleybus lines 25 and 26 to lines 44, 46 and 72 in the direction of Lesná, we recommend using the Lesnická stop.
Several short-term closures are expected during this closure, which will affect the route of lines 57 and N92 in the direction of Lesná. Details will be published in separate information.
