We have great news for all day-trippers and cyclists! Starting in July 2026, the South Moravian Region and the South Bohemian Region will mutually recognize selected tourist tickets in the Vranov and Slavonice areas. 

With a one-day or multi-day IDS JMK tourist ticket (regardless of type), you can now extend your trips all the way to Staré Hobzí, Slavonice, or Landštejn Castle. 

On weekends, the South Bohemian IDESKA 180 bike bus runs, connecting České Budějovice, Jindřichův Hradec, and Slavonice with Vratěnín, Uherčice, and Bítov in South Moravia.

From Znojmo, take bus 816 at 11:02 a.m., then transfer in Lesná to bus 830 bound for Bítov. From there, you can continue on the South Bohemian bike bus line 180 to Slavonice and then take line 325 all the way to Staré Město pod Landštejnem to visit Landštejn Castle. For the return trip, you can take bus 325 from Landštejn, departing at 3:52 p.m. 

If you buy a 24-hour Podyjí ticket for 130 Kč from the driver of bus line 816, you can use it not only to travel to Bítov, but also from Bítov on line 180 to Slavonice or, after transferring, to Landštejn—and you’ll still have time to make it back on the same day!
