Train diversion in Brno

Due to the limited line capacity, trains of lines S2, R8, R9, R19, xS4D will run according to the closure timetables from 1 August 2025 from 21:10 to 4 August 2025 until 13:20. Some trains of line S2, R9, R19 will start/end at Brno Dolní nádraží with connecting buses of line xD from/to the stop at Brno hl. Trains will make extraordinary stops for alighting/boarding at Brno-Zidenice.
Line S2:
On Saturday 2.8.2025 and Sunday 3.8.2025 trains will run from Brno-Maloměřice to Brno-Židenice on the T4 track, which has no platform. Therefore, trains in the direction to Brno will run at the Brno-Židenice stop according to the timetable.
Line R8:
Throughout the closure, fast trains of this line will start and end at Brno hl.n.
In the section Brno hl.n. - Brno-Královo Pole, passengers will use ČD trains of line S3 as an alternative.
Line R9:
Between the stations Brno hl.n. and Brno dolní nádraží will be provided by NAD.
Line R19:
From Brno hl.n. trains will be accelerated by approx. 6 minutes according to the closure timetable.
Bicycle transport:
Transportation of bicycles is not provided on the replacement buses.
Replacement bus stops:
• Brno hl. n. - on Nádražní Street at the stop NAD "Hlavní nádraží" by the single tracks (nást. 5 and 6)
• Brno dolní nádraží - in front of the station building
