Changes to routes 401 and 402 – Ostrovačice

Due to road resurfacing works, on 27 October 2026, bus routes 401 and 402 will follow a diversion as follows:
Route 401 travelling from Brno will be diverted via the D1 motorway (via EXIT 178 Ostrovačice) to the Ostrovačice, Veveří stop and will then continue along its regular route. It will skip the Ostrovačice, nám. Viléma Mrštíka stop. As a replacement, it will stop at the Ostrovačice, Veveří stop. In the opposite direction (towards Brno), the route will continue to follow the same diversion route.
The additional service 153 on route 401 will run without restrictions from the Ostrovačice, nám. Viléma Mrštíka stop.
Services on route 402, which normally run via the Omice, Kývalka stop, will, when travelling from Brno, be diverted via the Automotodrom between the Popůvky, Vintrovna and Ostrovačice, nám. Viléma Mrštíka stops. They will skip the Omice, Kývalka stop. As a replacement, a connecting service will stop at the Omice, Kývalka stop. These services will not serve any other stops along the diversion route. In the opposite direction (towards Brno), services will continue to follow the same diversion route.
Changes to stops:
Ostrovačice, nám. Viléma Mrštíka (in both directions) – not served by route 401 (except for service 153, which serves the stop as normal);
Omice, Kývalka (in both directions) – not served by route 402.
