Weekend train service suspension on the R8 line

To: 9/6/26 6:00 PM
From 6.00 am on Saturday 5 September 2026 continuously until 8.00 pm on Sunday 6 September 2026, and subsequently from 6.00 am on Saturday 12 September 2026 continuously until 8.00 pm on Sunday 13 September 2026 at 8.00 pm, there will be a service suspension on line R8 in conjunction with other service suspensions.
Trains on line R8 towards Přerov will be replaced by NAD services on the section (Přerov – Kojetín) – Vyškov na Mor. – Brno hl.n., in accordance with the xR8 line’s suspension timetable.
Passengers travelling on the Brno-Královo Pole – Brno hl.n. section should use S3 line trains as replacement transport.
Fare information:
Passengers using the S3 line on the Brno Main Station – Brno-Královo Pole as a replacement for the cancelled R8 service must, upon inspection on the S3 train, present a valid Regiojet ticket in printed or electronic form, which was issued for the R8 service and is valid for the section Brno Main Station – Brno-Královo Pole.
Locations of stops for the xR8 replacement bus service:
• Přerov – opposite the station building, Husova Street
• Kojetín – in front of the station building
• Nezamyslice – at the ‘BUS, Nezamyslice, žel. st.
• Vyškov na Moravě – at the ‘BUS, Vyškov, žel. st.
• Brno hl. n.
- departures: at the temporary ‘NAD’ stop, Nádražní Street (near platforms 5 and 6, žel. st. Brno hl.n.)
- arrives: at the public transport stop, Úzká (behind the station, opposite the Vaňkovka shopping centre)
• Brno-Královo Pole – accessible by trains on line S3 (fare information).
