Weekend service suspensions on routes R8, R9 and R19

On 8 August, 9 August, 15 August and 16 August, between 9.20 and 20.20, trains on lines R8, R9 and R19 will run according to the temporary timetables. 

  • R8 trains will be replaced by replacement bus services (NAD) operating as line xR8 on the section between Přerov – Kojetín – Vyškov na Mor. and Brno Main Station.
  • R9 trains will start and end their journeys at Brno Dolní station. As a special arrangement, these trains will stop for passengers to alight and board at Brno-Židenice.
  • R19 trains – departing from Brno Main Station – will be brought forward by approximately 7 minutes in accordance with the closure timetable. They will arrive at Brno Main Station up to 10 minutes later.

R8 service
R8 trains bound for Přerov will be replaced by replacement bus services (NAD) on the section (Přerov – Kojetín) – Vyškov na Mor. – Brno Main Station, in accordance with the xR8 line’s closure timetable. Passengers on the Brno-Královo Pole – Brno Main Station section will use trains on line S3 as a replacement service.
Passengers using the S3 line on the Brno Main Station – Brno-Královo Pole as a replacement for the cancelled R8 service must, upon inspection on the S3 train, present a valid Regiojet ticket in printed or electronic form, which was issued for the R8 service and is valid for the section Brno Main Station – Brno-Královo Pole.

Locations of stops for the xR8 replacement bus service:
  • Přerov – opposite the station building, Husova Street
  • Kojetín – in front of the station building
  • Nezamyslice – at the ‘BUS, Nezamyslice, railway station’ stop
  • Vyškov na Moravě – at the ‘BUS, Vyškov, railway station’ stop
  • Brno hl.n. – boarding: at the replacement stop ‘NAD’, Nádražní Street (near platforms 5 and 6, Brno Main Station) – alighting: at the public transport stop, Úzká Street (behind the station opposite the Vaňkovka shopping centre)
  • Brno-Královo Pole stop is accessible via trains on the S3 line.
