Weekend Train Service Disruption on the R8 Line

From 6:30 a.m. on July 18, 2026, through 6:00 p.m. on July 19, 2026, R8 trains bound for Přerov will be replaced by substitute bus service (NAD) on the section (Přerov – Kojetín) – Vyškov na Mor. – Brno hl.n. by replacement bus service (NAD) according to the xR8 line’s temporary schedule. Passengers on the Brno-Královo Pole – Brno hl.n. section will use trains on line S3 as replacement service.
Fare information:
Passengers using the S3 train line on the Brno Main Station – Brno-Královo Pole as a replacement for the canceled R8 service must present a valid Regiojet ticket—in printed or electronic form—issued for the R8 line and valid for the Brno Main Station – Brno-Královo Pole section when asked to show it on the S3 train.
Bicycle Transport:
Bicycle transport is available until capacity is reached.
Locations of Replacement Service Stops:
• Brno hl. n.
– departures: NAD stop, Nádražní St. (near platforms 5 and 6, Brno hl.n.)
– arrives: public transit stop, Úzká (across from the OC Vaňkovka)
• Vyškov na Mor. – near the station at the IDS JMK bus stop “Vyškov, žel. st.”
• Nezamyslice – near the station building at the bus stop “Nezamyslice, žel. st.”
