Tram diversion in Brno - Benešova street

Due to track replacement work, Benešova Street near the Malinovského náměstí stop will be closed to tram traffic in the direction of Cejl Street on Saturday, May 16, and Sunday, May 17, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Tram lines 2 and 7 heading toward Stará osada / Zemědělská will be rerouted via Masarykova and Rooseveltova streets on the section between Hlavní nádraží and Malinovského náměstí.
• The Main Station stop will be served at the intersection with Masarykova Street.
• The Malinovského náměstí stop will be served jointly with Line 1 (toward Bystrc).
• On the detour route, the lines will also serve the Zelný trh, Náměstí Svobody, and Česká stops (Platform No. 9).
• On the section between Malinovského náměstí and Stará osada / Zemědělská, lines will run 5 minutes later than the regular schedule.
Tram Line 4 will run toward Obřany on the section between Malinovského náměstí and Trávníčkova via a detour along Rooseveltova and Milady Horákové streets.
• It will not serve the Körnerova and Tkalcovská stops in that direction.
• It will serve the Malinovského náměstí stop together with Line 1 (toward Řečkovice).
• On the detour route, it will serve the Moravské náměstí, Náměstí 28. října, Dětská nemocnice, and Jugoslávská stops.
The Malinovského náměstí stop for night lines N94, N97, and N99 night lines heading toward Obřany / Líšeň will be relocated to the passing lane at the tram island continuously from 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026, until 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2026.
