Due to the Moravian Smoked Meat and Wine Festival 2026, transport to Veveří Castle will be increased over the weekend of February 28–March 1, 2026.
Bus line 303 will operate according to the regular timetable, and individual connections will be reinforced with additional buses in case of increased demand.
Due to the reconstruction of the South Gate of Veveří Castle, the access road from the Veveří Castle stop is closed! To access the castle grounds, please use only the U Matky Boží stop, which is served by line 303 buses running via Mečkov.
Fare information:
• The U Matky Boží stop is located in fare zone 325.
• For travel from the center of Brno (fare zone 100), a 4-zone ticket costing CZK 41 is required.
• For travel from the outskirts of Brno (fare zone 101), a 3-zone ticket costing CZK 33 is required.
• Holders of a Brno season ticket (fare zones 100+101) need a ticket for 2 zones costing CZK 25.
• Please note that SMS tickets and the automatic "Pípni a jeď" system cannot be used for journeys outside Brno.
