ISSUING AN IDS JMK DUPLICATE TICKET

BASIC INFORMATION

  • For either lost, stolen or damaged non-transferable pre-paid tickets, there can be a duplicate ticket issued to a single passenger once per year for a fee of 50 CZK.
  • In case of damaging the coupon itself (as opposed to only the ID part of the card), a duplicate ticket can be issued only if the coupon number is legible or if the birth date is both legible and verifiable.
  • A duplicate ticket (coupon) is to be issued no sooner than 1 business day after submitting the request for a duplicate coupon. Presenting the ID part of the ticket and a valid ID itself is required. Fare refunds aren't possible if requesting a duplicate coupon.
  • A duplicate of the ID part of the ticket (with the owner's photo and other information) cannot be issued.
  • When issuing a duplicate yearly pass, the owner will receive a duplicate of all currently valid coupons. The owner will also need to prove ownership of any coupons that are yet to be valid; in case of theft of these coupons, the owner will only receive duplicate coupons that are currently valid.
  • A duplicate coupon may only be issued if all penalty fares to date have been paid for.

ISSUING A DPMB DUPLICATE TICKET

  • The applicant for a duplicate coupon has to go to the DPMB Tariff contact center. The applicant then presents is ID and fills out a form requesting the duplicate coupon.
  • When requesting a duplicate for a child under 15, the guardian has to fill out said form.
  • A Tariff contact center employee verifies and confirms the request.
  • The applicant then receives a duplicate ticket ID at a counter at Novobranská 18 (an ID-format photo is required, along with a 30 CZK fee).
  • After submitting the verified and confirmed request, the applicant then receives the duplicate coupon at the same counte.
  • After paying a 50 CZK fee, the applicant then confirms receiving the duplicate ticket through the form.

Other conditions for receiving the duplicate coupon:

  • A duplicate coupon may only be issued by DPMB if both the original coupon and ticket ID were issued in a DPMB pre-sale place. Duplicates may be issued for any customer; however, for pensioners over 70 and guardians for children under 3, it's more expensive to have a duplicate coupon issued than to purchase a new one.
  • When issuing a duplicate yearly pass, the owner will receive a duplicate of all currently valid coupons. ISSUING A ČD DUPLICATE TICKET

  • The passenger needs to have the following items ready: a filled-out form requesting a duplicate ticket (CZE only), proof of ID, 50 CZK for paying the fee.
  • With these items, the passenger needs to pay a visit to any ČD counter (at most major train stations) and states the place and date of purchase. When requesting a duplicate for a child under 15, the guardian has to request the duplicate instead.
  • ČD verifies if the required coupon has been previously issued to the applicant. The applicant's name, birth date and residency may be archived for verification purposes.
  • Upon presenting a verified and confirmed request form, the applicant will receive a duplicate coupon.
  • Faded coupons that are still somewhat legible are renewed at no cost and mostly while one waits.
  • The applicant's name, birth date and residency may be archived for verification purposes.

ISSUING A DUPLICATE TICKET originally issued by bus carriers or at post offices

  • After a previous reservation via email info@kordis-jmk.cz or via phone +420 532 191 426, the applicant needs to pay a visit to the ticket inspection department of KORDIS JMK, located at Nové sady 30, Brno.
  • The passenger presents a valid ID and states where and when the original coupon was issued. When requesting a duplicate for a child under 15, the guardian has to request the duplicate instead.
  • ČD verifies if the required coupon has been previously issued to the applicant and gets a new one ready within a designated timeframe.
  • Upon receiving the duplicate, the applicant has to present a valid IDS JMK card.
  • The applicant's name, birth date and residency may be archived for verification purposes.
