Integrated Transport System of the South Moravian Region

Změny v dopravě od 18. května 2026 v Brně

From: 5/13/26 10:00 PM

To: 9/9/99 9:59 PM

Starting Monday, May 18, 2026, timetables for selected lines will be adjusted due to a tram service suspension at Náměstí Svobody, increased tram service, and other operational changes.

Tram Service Suspension at Náměstí Svobody
Due to the completion of pavement repairs and the installation of retractable bollards preventing entry into the city center, tram service on Masarykova Street will not be possible from the start of service on Monday, May 18, 2026, until the work is completed (expected by the end of June 2026), which will require comprehensive changes to tram routes in the city center.

Expansion of Service to Brno-Tuřany Airport
As part of further efforts to make public transport more environmentally friendly, the connection between the city center and the airport will be provided by the new trolleybus line 21 on the route Main Station – Tuřany Airport Terminal. This line will fully replace the existing bus line E76 and, in addition, will run at a reduced 20-minute interval during the day.
• On the Main Station – Řípská section, it will follow the route and stops of line 31; on the Řípská – Tuřany Airport Terminal section, it will follow the existing route and stops of line E76.
• At the Main Station, it will serve platform No. 11 (at the trolleybus loop).

Changes to Bus Routes in the Štýřice and Bohunice Areas
Due to significant service increases on tram line 8, bus line 40 will now operate on a shortened route: Tuřany, Tovární – Úzká.
• In the direction from Úzká to Tuřany, it will follow the existing route.
• In the direction of Úzká, it will serve the ÚAN Zvonařka stop (at platform no. 37) instead of the Autobusové nádraží stop.
• On the section (Studentská –) Nemocnice Bohunice – Ústřední hřbitov, it will be replaced by the extended line 69.
• For travel between Štýřice and the city center, you can use tram lines 2, 7, or 8, or regional bus lines 104, 105, and 108.

Circular bus lines 44 and 84 will continue to serve the Spielberk Office Center and the area around M-Palác in an expanded form.
• Both lines will now gradually serve the following stops: Holandská (stop next to the Hornbach shopping center) » Bidláky (reopened stop on Pražákova Street) » Strážní (at the traffic light intersection on Heršpická Street).
• The Strážní stop is also served by regional bus lines 104, 105, and 108 within the city of Brno on the shared route ÚAN Zvonařka – Strážní – Ústřední hřbitov.

Bus route 69 will operate along the Bosonohy – Bohunice Hospital – Central Cemetery route. Between Bosonohy and Bohunice Hospital, it will follow its current route without change; between Bohunice Hospital and the Central Cemetery, it will operate via two route options:
• Approximately half of the trips will follow the existing route via Kamenice Street to Ukrajinská Street and then via Lány Street to the Central Cemetery, serving the following stops: Gruzínská, Za hřbitovem (only in the direction of the Central Cemetery), Traťová, Bohunická (only in the direction of the Central Cemetery), and Central Cemetery.
• The other half of the services will travel directly to the Central Cemetery via Jihlavská Street, serving the following stops: Stará nemocnice, Uzbecká (only in the direction of Bohunice Hospital), Krematorium, and Central Cemetery.
• Selected services specified in the timetable will also continue to serve the Vltavská – Labská section and the Studentská stop.

Bus line 58 will run in both directions on the section between Zetor, silnice and Malá Klajdovka via a detour through the Novolíšeňská stop (the stop for lines 25 and 27 heading toward Vinohrady).
Selected services on line 58 during the morning and afternoon rush hours will operate only on the section Líšeň, hřbitov – Novolíšeňská.
Selected services on line 78 during the morning and afternoon rush hours will operate only on the section Areál Slatina – Jírova – Strnadova – Růženin dvůr – Novolíšeňská.
